Wumbers | Little Lit Book Series

In Wumbers, language converges with math to create something new and surprising (and seemingly cryptic at first glance).  We did a double take the first time we read it.  The mid-word shifts between the linguistic and mathematic keep readers nimble and on their proverbial toes.  The hybrid text promotes a type of mental dexterity, flexibility and a different kind of fluency. Just s2pendous.

Written by Amy Krouse Rosenthal and Tom Lichtenheld, Wumbers was inspired by William Steig’s CDB!  Published by Chronicle Books.
