One of the virtues of language is its ability to be playful and lighthearted. We love the mad dash and boisterous chase of wordplay that is A Greyhound, a Groundhog. Its smattering of words, whimsy and lively rhythm make it extra enjoyable as a read-aloud. One of our favorites this year.
A Greyhound, a Groundhog was written by Emily Jenkins, illustrated by Chris Appelhans and published by Schwartz & Wade.
