In Mary's Garden | Little Lit Book Series

Mary Nohl discovered her interests and talents early on in life.  As a child, she "was happiest when her hands were busy making, building, creating things."  She created art using many different media, but she is most well known for her garden of sculptures made of concrete and found objects, inspired in large part by her travels and the setting she grew up in.  In Mary's Garden tells a bit of her story as an independent artist and woman.

In Mary’s Garden was written by Carson Kügler, illustrated by Tina Kügler and published by HMH Books for Young Readers.
